Briar Watt-Meek
Briar is a high school teacher at Newcastle Waldorf School, NSW, Australia. With a Steiner background and a passion for the arts and education, she values innovative conscious thinking.
Currently, Briar teaches across a range of subject, including Maths, languages, and Visual Arts. In 2018, Briar spent a month in India leading and mentoring a group of 8 university students from Australia and India in the creation of an after-school education pod in Mylanahalli - a rural village in Karnataka, India.
Briar is also part of an art collective that has done several subsidised sculptural installations. She is very much looking forward to working with students in an international context, as they experience the creative process of boat building.
